I didn't really find them annoying per se - just not likable enough! :) But yeah, Riordan is a fun writer and anything mythology-related is awesome. I also can't wait for The Son of Neptune. One of my favorite characters from that book was Muffin :)<br /><br />I am looking forward to eventually reading this one though the book I really can't wait to get my hands on is The Son of Neptune. His books sound so awesome. I especially like the way you say that he is able to blend mythology lessons to fiction.
