read outside!

Tuesday, May 3, 2011

Warmer weather has officially arrived. These past few days have been warmer than usual, and there seems to be no trace of the long Winter season left. The past weekend especially has been very kind. It pretty much called for some outside reading, so that's exactly what I did. I went to our backyard, sat on a chair, and read. Read and read and read. And it was nice. I never really liked outdoor reading, but I think I have found a love for it. So my challenge to you is to try it out as well. I think that the change of scenery might do you good. Hopefully these photos will inspire you to do just that.

Inspiration: Bookshelves

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

Lately, I've been looking at some photos of bookshelves online; basically imagining what my future bookshelf would look like. Right now, I am content with what I have in my room, but I know when I have my own place, I would decorate with books, books, and more books. I imagine a whole wall; it might get its own room or it might stay in the main living area. I don't know yet, but I have been obsessed with looking at these photos that I felt I had to share with you all. Hope you like the photos and the awesome video below!

I also wanted to share with you a video I think any book lover can appreciate. It's created by a group of artists, and I have to say, it's pretty amazing.

Inspiration: the Holidays

Saturday, December 4, 2010

Christmas season: most definitely my favorite time of the year. I just love everything about it! The get togethers, gatherings, and parties. Friends and family. Even the Christmas shopping. The gift giving. Also, people, for some reason, seem to be a lot kinder, nicer, and more patient this time of year. Everyone's in a festive, happy, and joyous mood. How can you not love this season? I know I am in love with it. This inspiration post is just to get you into that Christmas-y feeling, if you are not feeling it yet. And if you don't celebrate it, for you to be excited about the last month of 2010. Happy Holidays everyone!
