'InMyMailBox' Wishlist + TBR stack + Book Addiction Problem

Monday, June 14, 2010

These are the books I want, want, want! There is no way that I would purchase all of these though before reading them, because that would just kill my wallet. And that is exactly why I love the local library. They've delivered time and time again. Unfortunately, I have checked our library's database and they don't have copies of these.. yet! I am sending them an e-mail requesting to get them, ha ha.

What I really can not wait to get my hands on the most though is Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles. If you have read my review for Perfect Chemistry, you'd know how much I loved it! I mean, honestly, if there was such a thing as a 'Book Crush,' that would be mine.

I have heard a lot of great things about White Cat by Holly Black, Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev, and The Blood Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward, and every rave review that I see makes me want to read them even more. The Tension of Opposites by Kristina McBride is one that has not been talked about as much yet but the synopsis sounds interesting, and even has an intriguing cover to back it up. College Girl by Patricia Weitz is one that I simply saw on the bookshelf. It's one that I have not heard of much, but when I read the synopsis for it, I already knew it was something I'd really enjoy reading.

Truthfully though, I still have a lot of wonderful books in my TBR stack, and I don't need any more. Here is mine. Note that this is just the stack itself -- one that I aim to read for this month only -- and not the actual list and/or stack. Let's not go there!

So maybe I don't really need any more books IMM. Last week, I didn't get any books at all, because truthfully, I'm trying to stop myself from getting any more. Sometimes, I just have to do this. However, it is what it is with us bookworms and our book addiction problems. It just can't be helped at times. What more can we do, right?

Now I'm curious, what are the books you can't wait to read? Do you already have them or are you still waiting to get your hands on them? Finally, please feel free to talk about your book addiction problem, if you have it as well. Don't deny it now! ;) Share stories, if you feel like it. I'd love to hear.
