First thing's first. I have a new blog design! This is a pre-made template that I got off from a graphic designer and web designer online. I still adore my old blog design created by a good friend and fellow book blogger, but after four years, I just needed change. I went for more of a minimalist design, and a bigger blog text space. I hope you like it!
I also hope your Easter Sunday was eventful. We went to a local winery and had a simple picnic. It was nice and quaint, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
I made sure to sneak in a bit of reading time. Currently, I am reading Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, which I haven't read.
How was your Easer, or if you don't celebrate it, how was your Sunday? What are you currently reading? And what do you think of the new blog design?
Anyway, I hope you have a happy week ahead!
your blog design looks so pretty!! I really love it! Great way in giving your blog a whole new look :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI also love your new blog design, it's very light and gives good positive vibes (not that there was anything wrong with the last one either). We had nice Easter, ate nice food and went outside a lot since weathers are really nice and springy here in Finland. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I think it's very different from my last one (which I loved!) but again just needed change. And gosh, I wish I can go to Finland. It sounds awesome.
DeleteYou blog design looks good - I like the light feeling to it. :) Happy belated Easter!
ReplyDeleteYay thank you!!
DeleteI love the look of your blog, especially the header.
ReplyDeleteI had a quiet Easter. I had planned to go and spend the weekend with my parents but my car had other ideas so I stayed home and read a lot. Sounds like you had a really nice Easter. I've always wanted to visit a winery. I will have to put that on my bucket list :)
Quiet Easters sound good to me too :)
DeleteThe new design is very nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI loev the design! Very sleek. Cat's Cradle is one of my favorite Vonnegut novels. See the cat, see the cradle?
ReplyDeleteI love your new design! It looks so peaceful and clean - and I like the new profile pic too! I had a quiet Easter, ate a bit of chocolate, read a bit, and now it's a bit of a rush to get some jobs done, go food shopping, finish my current reads and sort some books out ready for Dewey at the weekend... Don't want to get partway through the readathon and suddenly realise I have no snacks or need to do a pile of laundry. :D
