Our childhood is finally coming to an end this July 15 at 12:17AM. Soooo unbelievably excited!! But you guys, I have to admit, I'm also very scared I might just cry all throughout the movie. Haha.
When are you watching it? And are you doing anything special for it or anything? I'm watching with Tim and I'll be wearing my Gryffindor scarf. Will wait in line for 4 hours - which isn't even a lot compared to the people who will be there, hm, at 3pm or even earlier! It's all good - we will be doing homework and writing essays to kill time. We lead very exciting lives obviously.
Happy Harry Potter weekend!
I am pretty sure I am going to cry too. I read the first book when I was 10, and watched the first movie when I was 12. Now it's all coming to an end! I am sad and excited at the same time .
ReplyDeleteI am watching it this Friday along with some of my friends.
I couldn't watch Part 1 tonight without crying like a baby so I don't think I'll have much hope for tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThe one good thing about the theater I'm going to is that they have assigned seats, so even though me and my BFF have shitty ones in the second row we don't need to get there before 11.
Misha - Same story here, just different age. But I really feel like a lot of people grew up with these books, which of course, makes it even harder to let go!
ReplyDeleteLetter4no1 - :( I cried in part1 too and that wasn't really much of a tearjerker if you think about it. Oh and you are soo lucky to have assigned seats. Here, we have to kill for them, sadly. lol
Hi Jillian, I saw you spotlighted on Misha's site and wanted to drop by to say hello ........ Hellooooo. Nice to have met you, I've enjoyed my visit.
ReplyDeleteI am going with my oldes two son's on the 15th at 8:00 PM (only time available last week.) Of course I have read all the books, but I am so excited about the movie that I can hardly wait.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing my Gryffindor shirt that I bought at the Wizarding World this Summer.
I will definitely cry! It's been 13 years of books and films for me, and I'm like you - excited and scared!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to the midnight show tonight with my friend Kait, we'll get there probably at around 7 or 8 to make sure we can get good seats. I'll be sporting my Hufflepuff scarf =D
I'm gonna cry. It's the end of an era, I just can't believe it's over! I wish I had a Gryffindor Scarf :/. The only special thing I'm gonna do is sneak sherbet lemons into the cinema and munch on them while watching. Long live Dumbledore! :P
ReplyDelete*Cries*
ReplyDeleteI am so nervous!! Hope you have fun, you and your bf are adorable together btw :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait but I think I will wait till the beginning crowds die down.
ReplyDeletePetty - thank you for visiting :)
ReplyDeletethekams - I don't see many people sporting Hufflepuff scarves!! How awesome :)
Liz - haha yeah.. long live Snape!
Aylee :(
Aly - Thank you so much!
juju - As much as I hate waiting in line and the crowd, I simply can not wait longer!
We french people were lucky to see it on the 13th of july! Simply because movie releases are on wednesdays here... So I went with a friend to see it wednesday at midnight!
ReplyDeleteIt was crazy and there were nearly only americans, I don't know why! But anyway it was really great, everyone was screaming and applauding when something happened (which we usually don't do much in France).
When I got home, everyone in the buses talked about Harry Potter, it was weird to see Paris full of fans but really fun :)
Touloulou - Aw the bus ride must have been awesome!! :)
