over this.
Yeah, as much as I did not like Mockingjay, I can't deny the Hunger Games series is pretty darn epic. The concept of the entire series, the characters, the action, the interesting sub-plots... I can not wait!
I've also come to learn that I should just accept the cast - I believe they were picked for a reason! I can't be picky so I think I'll just wait until I see them in the actual films before I complain haha. So I'm hopeful. What do you think? Pretty cool teaser poster, right?
Not too fond of the cast but yes poster looks great so far!
ReplyDeleteLove the poster (blogged about it yesterday as well :)), but I was wondering how it would appeal to people who are not familiar with the books. So excited!
ReplyDeleteI was not very happy with the cast, but now seeing this poster is making me excited. Now that HP is over, I will have at least something to look forward to next year, apart from The Hobbit.
ReplyDeleteEeekk! I am excited too! I also will wait until I see them before I say anything, even though I still think Hugh Dancy should have been cast as Cinna!
ReplyDeleteI share the same opinion with you about the casts. We'll see how it will turn out. And Jill, I love this teaser poster!!!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to watching this one also even though I wasn't a fan.
ReplyDeleteI don't even know who the cast are.
I am worried about this book-to-movie experience, as I always am, but I really really loved the trilogy, and I will be very sad if they ruin it for me. Even Harry Potter was a bit of a let down (well, except for HP7.2). But this poster, I have to say, gives me some hope!
ReplyDeleteOMG I know. I saw. I can not wait! Whoot!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same as you - I love the series, but was completely disappointed with Mockingjay!
ReplyDeleteIt's an amazing poster, but I'm not sure how I feel about the film. I'm happy with the Katniss casting choice (so far!), but the Peeta actor really annoys me. He looks so wrong!
Aly - check out the official website. The song and the fire combined gives me goosebumps!
ReplyDeleteSelina - I doubt this is the final poster yet. I am sure they'll figure out a way to market and hype it up for the non-readers :)
Misha - !!! The Hobbit! Absolutely can't wait for that.
cj - you should check out the website - it's so eerie with the fire and the music lol
May - Omg I wanted Hugh Dancy to be Cinna too!!
Marce - You didn't like the HG Games?
caittor - Yes the other HP films didn't live up the books as much as hp7pt 1 and 2 did but I guess I still love them just because they're there and they're part of my favorite franchise! :) I hope they also do well with this one.
Juju - Yay! Glad to see you're excited too.
Hanna - I had major issues with how the entire series was concluded to be honest, and kinda felt betrayed by it in a way lol Oh and the Peeta guy, the only movie I've seen him in is Bridge to Terabithia? I think.
I love this poster - especially the animated version with all the flickering flames and liquid metal! Gorgeous :D
ReplyDeleteI'm with you - didn't much care for Mockingjay but am still excited for the movie. Can't wait and the poster rocks! I love how they still kept the book cover design and simply enhanced it.
ReplyDeletedanya - Oh I agree. The animated one on the website is awesome! Gave me goosebumps.
ReplyDeleteNatalie - Just didn't like how the entire series was concluded :/ And yes, love the dark, mysterious look of it.
I, for one, love the poster. I think it's so much better than some silly cast poster to tease :)
ReplyDeleteMelissa - Yes I agree :) Like this one too. Looks so mysterious!
ReplyDeleteVery exciting! I've also come to accept the actors chosen. The important thing is that they can act well and like the characters.
ReplyDeleteAylee - We'll just have to cross our fingers for that one! :)
ReplyDeleteAny movie news just gets more and more exciting for me. I really should finish the series before the movie releases.
ReplyDeleteJenny - aah!! I'm excited to hear what you think of the entire series as a whole.
ReplyDeleteI've still got to read the first book. (I know, I know, I HAVE to read it soon ^^)
