i apologize for the nonstop harry potter posts!

Friday, July 15, 2011

I know I haven't been writing reviews or anything, and all I seem to be talking about is potterpotterpotter.. so I apologize but I can't help it! So here's a quick, crazy update. 4am - just got home from the movies. I feel like I just have to post about it and share this with you all.

Harry Potter... oh my gaaah. Amazing. Did not disappoint. So worth the 4 hour wait in the cold with Tim, and for coming home so late even though I have work in just a few hours. To be honest, I'm incoherent right now so I shouldn't even be posting. Can't talk because of how excited I feel. But I don't care, because I know it's only you guys that understand exactly how I feel!

But wow. It's officially over. Can you believe it?? I can't!
14 years!
14 amazing years.

Thanks J.K. Rowling. I know I wouldn't be the crazy bookworm that I am today if it weren't for you and your books and your characters and the magic and everything else that came with it. Amazing. That's all I've got to say. Goodnight.

  3. What a fun night! Racing, sprinklers, word association, and the final HP movie!

Best movie of the series by far! It was definitely worth toughing it out for a few hours outside. My only disappointment with the movie was it being the last one, so now there are no more to look forward to!

    Favorite quote of the film:

"Is this real? Or has this been happening inside my head?"

"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"

    Let's watch it again! =)

  7. Can't wait to see it... oh I forgot, I HAVE to wait to see it. Aargh!!!

Anyways, I wanted to tell you a cute story about my friend whose way of coping is NOT to read the last book. Imagine that??? She is suspending reading it indefinitely. Again, imagine that????? Is she actually a bigger fan??

  10. I LOVED the film. I can't stop GUSHING about it! EEEE! :D I really thought the standout performance was Alan Rickman's. The Prince's Tale was superbly done here, thankfully! :D I was worried it was going to get messed up. Glad you liked it!

  11. Nonie - YAY! Glad you loved it too. I couldn't stop gushing about it either, actually till now. Haha. And yes, The Prince's Tale was ah-maazzingly done. Such a relief since that part was one of my favorites from the book.
