July 4th Weekend In Photos

Monday, July 5, 2010

Early on Sunday, we drove down to the Central Coast towards Southern California to a town in San Luis Obispo. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to get there, which wasn't so bad. I used the opportunity to catch up on sleep! We were able to make it to Hearst Castle by 3pm. If you ever get the opportunity to visit this amazing place, do so! It's so worth it.

We took Tour 1; which was the recommended one for first time visitors. Now the Tour 2 showcases two amazing libraries, so I really want to go back to check those out next time, for sure! By the way, you can click on the photos to enlarge them.

...

Here's the world famous, Neptune Pool. Apparently, this is the most photographed pool in the US. It's is beautiful, I have to say.

....

Hands down though, my favorite part of the tour! The Roman Indoor Pool. (Isn't it obvious I have a thing for gorgeous swimming pools?) The word 'GORGEOUS' is an understatement to describe its grandeur.

....

Here are some other photos I took when we visited the little, quaint town in San Luis Obispo.

....

For lunch we ate at Mo's BBQ over at Pismo Beach. Very good! On the way home, we stopped by Mcdonald's to go bathroom -- and get some ice cream ;) Haha.

....

We spent the last few hours over there with the trip to the beach -- Pismo beach, to be exact. I love this place! Perfect weather. White sands. Quaint shops. It really was a nice way to end the trip.

.....

Hope you all had an awesome 4th of July weekend, and if you weren't celebrating, then a great and perfect weekend nonetheless! Happy Reading!

  7. Love these. It looks like you've got the Hipstamatic iPhone app, which I use constantly. It makes every shot so dreamy.
