That's right. 30. Isn't that crazy?? To the wizard who pretty much made me the biggest nerd ever, and to the author who created you.. happy birthday! Now here's a little post to make us remember our love (and perhaps our obsession?) with the boy wizard and the magical world J.K. Rowling created for him. Enjoy.
Love this post! And I love those shoes!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteWhat great books! Might be time to reread the series again-- I've been feeling the urge to reread something. Love that bracelet!
ReplyDeleteHow can he possibly be 30?!! Love the photos! (they are great shoes)
ReplyDeleteI love this post! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis post reminded me why I loved this series. I make it a rule to not reread books, but I may make an exception in this case.....
ReplyDeleteNow I feel like crying because it ends so soon!
ReplyDeleteIn the books, Harry Potter was born July 31, 1980.
ReplyDeleteThat's how he's 30 :-P
ReplyDeleteWait, you know what it means that Harry's 30 this year? It means that epilogue scene at King's Cross hasn't happened yet! He's just past 33 then! :D
ReplyDelete@Amanda: Right when I saw them I think I fell in love! I want them! Wonder where I could get one of those.. haha.
ReplyDelete@Lesa: So do I, I always try to reread at least one HP book during the Summer.. might have to do that very soon :)
@ds: He was born 1980 in the books ;)
@May: I loved them too, so I knew other HP nerds might as well!
@Julie P: Harry Potter books are always my exception to that rule! I always try to reread at least one of them during the Summer.
@darlyn: I know what you mean!
@WildIrishRose33: That's right :)
@Amanda: Haha, I know right?? It's actually kinda cool. By now though he's already married and have Albus Severus as his kid, haha.
Ah, no wonder I feel such a connection with Harry & Co. They're two years younger than I am. :)
ReplyDeleteAhh! I love this post! I'm such a Harry Potter nerd. I've been itching to re-read the series, but I have so many other books that I need to read!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. I think Harry Potter is one of the best things that happened to the reading community. I have 8 of the HP limited edition watches. So looking forward to the final movies even though they are never as good as the books.
